About Role
- A structured 12-18 month development programme designed to provide you with a holistic insight and practical application into all areas of a busy and successful Meetings and Events Department. You will learn all aspects to become an accomplished Events Experience executive.
- Working hands on you will be fully immersed into the culture and business of Rudding Park and truly experience the department from the ground up.
- You will receive one to one mentor with regular feedback as well as monthly graduate trainee team meetings.
- Completion of department objectives and a practical assignment aligned to the Events Executive placement time.
- During the year all trainees will complete training modules to enhance their management and leadership skills. These will be delivered by both Rudding Park managers and senior leaders and our nominated external training providers.
- We would expect you to be at the following level of responsibility after your first 6 months:
To be responsible for event and group reservations at Rudding Park, including bookings for meetings, events, golf, spa and weddings, concentrating on maximising revenue for all areas through upselling and cross selling. To achieve and exceed all set service level agreements, key performance indicators and guest expectations.
About You
- Demonstrate a passion and enthusiasm for Hospitality.
- To be eligible for the Graduate Trainee Programme, you must have:
- Graduated from a college, university or hotel school within the last year
- Bachelor’s degree or higher level education (associate’s degree acceptable for Culinary only)
- Proficiency in written & spoken English
- Must hold a UK/EU passport and/or be eligible to work in the UK
Hours
12 months fixed term, full time, 40-hour contract.
Salary
£24,128
In addition, you will be entitled to enhanced pay and a share of the tronc (tips, paid quarterly) You will also be eligible for the Rudding Park team discounts and work perks.
Graduation
On successful completion of the programme you will receive a certificate and momento of your time at Rudding Park
