Room to Reward is an inspirational charity that partners with hotels across the UK to thank exceptional volunteers by gifting them short breaks. The charity works by connecting with organisations who nominate their most dedicated volunteers – known as ‘Hidden Heroes’ – for well-earned rest and recognition.

Since 2022, our partnership with Room to Reward has enabled Rudding Park to donate stays worth over £3,500, completely free of charge, as a heartfelt thank you to those making a real difference in their communities.

Here are the remarkable stories of Hidden Heroes we’ve welcomed...

Jane has been a key member of the Charis outreach team for many years, dedicating her Monday evenings to supporting women in the sex industry. Known for her compassionate and non-judgmental approach, Jane’s unwavering reliability and positive attitude have made her an invaluable asset to the team.

These stories show the profound impact of volunteerism and the importance of recognising those who give so much.

We are honoured to play a part in celebrating them and look forward to continuing our partnership with Room to Reward to support many more 'Hidden Heroes' in the future.

'Rudding Park is incredibly proud to partner with Room to Reward, recognising the amazing kindness of others by offering hotel stays free of charge. Through this partnership, and many other unique initiatives, our Giving Something Back programme sees us supporting numerous charities and individuals within our community, ensuring that we play an active role in philanthropy, sustainability, and local development. It is a delight to welcome Room to Reward’s much deserving volunteers to Rudding Park.'

Jessica Mackaness, Giving Something Back Co-ordinator, Rudding Park

'We are immensely grateful for the incredible support of Rudding Park. To have such a prestigious property as an R2R partner is a major boost for our presence in the hospitality industry and it’s of course a wonderful option for volunteers to choose for their well-earned break. Room to Reward is only possible because of the hotels who support it. Each and every R2R guest who has visited Rudding Park has had a truly memorable experience and we are hugely appreciative to the whole team who make it happen.'
