- Following up to ensure everything was as per your requirements (data necessary for legitimate interests)
- Notifying you about new offers or facilities and services (data necessary for legitimate interests)
- Getting in touch to advise you of a change to our policies or issues with a service/facility (data necessary for legitimate interests/compliance with legal obligation)
- We also use it for business, regulatory and legal purposes, like health and safety, e.g. Registration forms so we can account for guests in the hotel (data necessary for compliance with legal obligation)
What we collect
We may collect the following information:

- birthdays
- contact information including email address
- demographic information such as post code
- your preferences and interests
- allergy information for guests dining with us
- health considerations for guests using The Spa/Gym
Your image and car number plate may be recorded by CCTV and ANPR when you visit Rudding Park. This is for the safety of guests and team members and complies with legal and regulatory obligations placed on Rudding Park as directed by ICO guidelines. This footage may also be used to exercise and defend our legal rights. Where necessary this footage will also be shared with the authorities for law enforcement purposes.

Yes. You can request we delete any information we hold on you at any time. Please write to Rudding Park Data Protection Office, Rudding Park, Follifoot, Harrogate HG3 1JH providing two copies of your ID e.g.
- Passport
- Driving licence
- Birth certificate
- Utility bill (from the last three months)
- Current vehicle registration document
- Bank statement (from the last three months)
- Rent book (from the last three months)
It will mean then mean we have to ask for your information each time you may a booking.
Do you share my data with other organisations?
No. We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we are required to by law.
We use third parties platforms to provide certain services e.g. online bookings, online gift vouchers. All partners are selected on the basis they are compliant with current legislation and do not sell, distribute or lease your personal information.
Rudding Park Golf
Occasionally Rudding Park Golf Members ask for the contact details of other golf members to arrange matches. In light of this new data protection legislation, members have been asked to advise the membership office if they are not happy for us to give out your contact details should we receive such as request. To request a copy of your data and have any mistakes corrected, please write to Rudding Park Data Protection Office, Rudding Park, Follifoot, Harrogate HG3 1JH or email your request to: gdpr@ruddingpark.com providing two copies of your ID from the list below;
