Amy and Stefan tied the knot on Saturday 28 May in a beautiful ceremony and reception in the Radcliffe Room.
Their story involved a beach proposal and reception with an uncooperative cake and a surprise dance!

So, how did you two meet?
We met at Leeds University and as we lived in the same halls of residence and we had a number of mutual friends.
When did you know they were ‘the one’/ how did they pop the question?
Stefan proposed to me while we were away on holiday in Singapore visiting his extended family. We took a day trip alone to an uninhabited island (Lazarus Island) off the coast of Singapore and he proposed on the beach. The ferry back was a 3 hour wait and he'd forgotten to tell me to bring any swimwear or sun cream so we just sat waiting for the ferry on the shaded jetty for 3 hours waiting to go back to the mainland!
What was the biggest MUST HAVE for your wedding?
Rudding Park as the venue! We love the relaxed but comfortable/luxury vibe.

Other than saying ‘I do’ what is the most unforgettable moment from the day?
The surprise father-daughter mash-up dance!
Which supplier was a real stand out for you? The unsung star who deserves a special mention.
Rachael was such a good fit for us and we loved all of her photos, and we were also so glad we decided to get a videographer and be able to watch the highlights/speeches/dances back.

What was it in your eyes that gives Rudding Park the WOW factor?
The level of customer service is fantastic, we really felt looked after the whole wedding day and in the wedding build-up.
How did you style the space? Did your wedding day have a theme?
We just had plenty of flowers and personal items, including a fingerprint tree guestbook and lots of photos.

What is your funniest memory from the day?
Not being able to cut the cake! We didn't realise how thick wedding cake icing would have to be!

What’s your best advice you could give to couples who are about to tie the knot at Rudding Park?
Just enjoy the whole experience – the build-up and all the perks in the run-up to the big day, and let the experienced team run the day with minimal stress for you.

We have loved Rudding Park for years – a weekend at Rudding Park was one of the first presents Stefan got for me (before the spa was built!) and we've been back every year since and so there wasn't really any other serious contenders for wedding venues for us. The customer service is second to none and we've got so many good memories from Rudding Park too.
