SPRING

There is no wonder spring is the most popular season for weddings, it’s a time for rebirth. When all the flowers start to bloom again after a cold winter. Think blossom trees, pastel florals and colourful glassware.

It’s a time for fresh, light and healthy menu choices. Birdsong sounds the sky and bridesmaids don their colourful dresses. Spring provides the perfect photo opportunity in front of our wisteria, so, gather your guests for an outdoor drinks reception and opt for Champagne towers and live music - the perfect spring fling!

Summer

Pimm's reception and outdoor ceremonies?! Yes please! Summer is a time for bright florals, BBQs and bold colour palettes. Consider an outdoor ceremony and provide personalised fans and brollies (not just for rain) to help keep guests cool!

Get your guests outdoors and play lawn games during your cocktail hour! Provide a self serve 'hydration station' with large Kilner jars and cute glassware

Top tip: Save the floral budget and reuse the aisle displays as table centrepieces.

Autumn

Autumn leaves and a Hygge wedding please! There's nothing we love more than when the leaves change from green to orange and the skies glow in pink/orange hues. Cue all the golden hour portrait shots - no really, Autumn is a photographers dream as the natural lighting is just right!

Things to consider: Autumn provides so much inspiration for favours. Create a marshmallow toasting area outside and provide throws and blankets for guests to snuggle up. Make the most of the natural colours that Autumn has to offer and bulk your floral centrepieces with natural foliage - this is a cost effective way of creating table centrepieces with impact.

Winter

Walking in a winter wonderland. A winter wedding calls for roaring fires, hot toddies, Christmas decorations and snowy landscapes. There's no wonder a winter wedding is rising in popularity. With hearty warming menu choices and incredible styling, it's a beautiful time of year to say 'I do'.

Plus, who doesn't love the idea of warming the cockles with a hot toddy? Why not invite your guests to enjoy a warming welcome drink - think, whiskey, hot toddys, mulled wine and hot chocolate!

Things to consider: when planning a winter wedding, consider an earlier ceremony time as you will loose daylight hours. This will help with more opportunities for portrait shots around the grounds and in the hotel
